Wednesday 26 June - Eltham College Class of 1960 get together in London

Just to let you know that a somewhat depleted group of 8 ultimately met yesterday – Clive Grenyer, John Palmer, Peter Gregory, Julian Hale, Michael Fulford, David Tyler, Charles Smith, and myself.

However, true to form we had a great time.

Thursday 27 June - St. Johns to Ottawa

We had a late flight to return to Ottawa so I started the day by visiting the Railway Coastal Museum which is close to the hotel. This gives an interesting history of the railway and coastal services although it is a pity that there was very little coverage of the non-CNR lines on the island.

We met MaryAnn Murphy for a very good fish and chip lunch and then went out to the airport for a Westjet flight to Ottawa via Toronto arriving on time at 0015. After picking up our checked bags we found that there was a 97 bus leaving shortly so we had a quick ride into town.
