Saturday 15 June - Cow Head to Gander

It wa s along drive in the rain today from Cow Head via Deer Lake and Grand Falls to Gander. The rain had stopped by the time we reached Gander but is due to catch up with us later this evening.
We stopped for the Silent Memorial to a plane load of US Airborne troops killed in a crash here

We then visited Gander airport which is pretty much a heritage building
